Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk and Wheel

April-June

We have been a part of the annual Sport Chek Mother’s Day Run, Walk & Wheel since we opened our doors back in 2012.

This charity supposrts the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) and Canadian Tire Jumpstart programs. Its a fun day of walking, running or wheeling at Chinook Mall. 

2000 Days Daycare usually gets a small group of 10 or so walkers to get donations and walk the course. The owners of 2000 Days Daycare match the donation to help even more.

Please come out and support this great cause on Mother’s Day every year at Chinook Mall.

Fear Is Not Love (Womens Shelter)

October-December

FearIsNotLove (the new brand evolution and operator of the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter) works to inspire and build a dignity driven movement, cultivating communities that are free from domestic violence and abuse.

We serve all people impacted by domestic violence, and abuse through a comprehensive range of innovative programs and services; from prevention and education, to counselling and emergency supports.

Everyone has the right to feel safe, respected, supported and loved.
